A fertility specialist for over two decades, Dr Minto-Bain has experience working in both her native UK and her adopted home of Trinidad and Tobago. She has been the Medical Director at Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre since 2008.
Dr Minto-Bain works full time as a fertility specialist at Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre, seeing both men and women.
Dr Minto-Bain graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 1993, then worked in London at Kings College Hospital and University College London Hospital for her O&G specialist training. Her specialist fertility training started with a clinical research post in reproductive medicine at University College London. After 11 years working in the UK’s NHS she moved with her Trinidadian husband and their children to live in Trinidad and Tobago. She continued her specialist fertility training in Trinidad & Tobago under Professor Samuel Ramsewak at the Reproductive Medicine Unit (RMU) at Medical Associates Hospital from 2004 to 2008, working as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist. From 2005 to 2018 she also worked as a lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of the West Indies. In 2008 she became a fulltime fertility specialist, when she led the expansion on the RMU into Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre and she became the Medical Director of the centre.
Dr Timothy is a a Fertility Specialist and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre and a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Sangre Grande Hospital.
She graduated from UWI Medical School in 2008 and completed her specialist O&G training in Trinidad and Tobago, obtaining both her UK specialist qualifications in O&G (MRCOG) in 2015 and her Caribbean specialist O&G diploma (DM (O&G)) in 2016. She has worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the public sector in Trinidad and Tobago for over a decade. In 2021 she completed her sub-specialist training in Fertility Medicine, obtaining a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine.
Dr Rampaul is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Fellow in Fertility Medicine, undertaking her subspecialist training in fertility medicine at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre.
She graduated from UWI Medical School in 2010 and completed her specialist O&G training in Trinidad and Tobago, obtaining her UK specialist qualifications in O&G (MRCOG) in 2017. She has worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the public sector in Trinidad and Tobago for over a decade.
Melissa has been working in clinical healthcare for over 15 years and has been a fertility Nurse at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre for over a decade. She has experience working as a healthcare professional in both the UK and Trinidad and Tobago. She obtained her BSc in Human Nutrition in the UK in 2008. She joined the centre’s team in 2011 and obtained her Fertility Nurse Certification from Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre in 2014, followed by ASRM Fertility Nurse Certification in 2020. She is an experienced ultrasound practitioner and was promoted to Clinical Nurse Manager in 2019.
Sharda has been working in clinical healthcare for over a decade and has been a Fertility Nurse at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre since 2017. She is an experienced ultrasonographer and obtained her BSc in Biology from UWI in 2009, and then qualified as an ultrasonographer with a diploma in medical ultrasound in 2013. After experience in the public health sector in Trinidad and Tobago she joined the Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre team in 2017.
Gabrielle has been working in clinical healthcare for over a decade and has experience working in both the USA and Trinidad and Tobago. She has been a Fertility Nurse at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre since 2012. She completed the Andrology Lab Technician training programme at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre in 2016 and works as both as a Fertility Nurse and as an Andrology Lab Technician. She qualified as a Medical assistant and Phlebotomist from Sanford-Brown Institute, New York in 2010.
Cindy has been working in clinical healthcare for over a decade and has been a fertility nurse at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre since 2017. She is a registered nurse with a BSc in general nursing.
Jasodra has been working in clinical healthcare for over a decade and has been a fertility nurse at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre since 2019.
Sonja is a Senior Embryologist at Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre. She has worked as an embryologist for over a decade.
Sonja obtained her BSc in biology from Morgan State University, USA and then Joined the Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre team in 2009. She was promoted to Senior Embryologist in 2018. She has specialist skills in ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) and egg vitrification.
Danielle is an Embryologist at Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre. She obtained her BSc in Biology with specialization in Biotechnology from UWI in 2015, and joined the Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre team in 2018.
Ruth joined the Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre team in 2021 and is currently in the Embryology training programme. She obtained her BSc in Biology and Biochemistry from UWI in 2019.
Anna is an experienced clinical psychologist and has been a Fertility Counsellor at Trinidad and Tobago IVF & Fertility Centre since 2019. She has a degree in Theology from UWI in 2008 and obtained her degree in Psychology from UWI in 2014. She went on to obtain her Master’s degree in counselling psychology from UWI in 2016.
Charlene has over 2 decades of experience working in healthcare administration and has been an integral part of the administrative team at Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre since 2010.
Amanda has over 8 years of experience working in healthcare administration. She joined the Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre administrative team in 2015 and in 2020 became the accounts assistant.
